Babette Martino studied under her parents, Giovanni and Eva Martino at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts around 1972. She earned a B.F.A. at Temple University, Tyler Institute, an M.F.A. at L’Accademia di Belle Arti, Firenze, Italia and an M.F.A. at the Instituto Allende, San Miguel de Allende, and the University of Guanajuato, MX. Babette won numerous prestigious awards including the National Academy of Design, NYC; A PEW Fellowship and medals from both the Allied Artists of America and the Audubon Artists of America, NYC
and is represented in major national museums.
