Eva Marinelli Martino (2012)

   Eva Martino took classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts around 1936 and studied under her husband, Giovanni Martino. Eva’s subject matter consisted of life size figures, still Life paintings, interiors and nonobjective carved wood sculptures. She exhibited nationally and won prestigious awards which included a Gold Medal of Honor, Audubon Artists of America, NYC. Her work is represented in major art collections including the Butler Institute of American Art, OH, the Woodmere Art Museum, and The PAFA Fellowship, Philadelphia, PA. The immediate family has shown in 25 Giovanni Martino Family Exhibitions in the USA.
